drowning in debt. Credit union managers must try to balance the reputation
of their organization with support for the employee.
Old Ben Franklin’s witticism that there are two sure things in life – death
and taxes – still holds true. But maybe he should have added a third:
some, meeting those monthly payments, which can multiply
exponentially, is a shaky balancing act. Piano lessons, hockey
equipment, or a hike in gas prices are just the minor, but
unexpected, expenses that can upset a precarious budget.
